Vehicles
Your vehicle list determines which jobs the platform shows you. Keep it accurate and up to date.
Where to find it
In the app: Fleet → Vehicles (/fleet/vehicles).
Adding a vehicle
- Click Add vehicle.
- Enter:
- Registration / plate number
- Make and model
- Type — e.g. rigid truck, articulated, light commercial, refrigerated
- Capacity — weight (tonnes) and volume (m³)
- Operating regions
- Upload the required documents — registration certificate, fitness certificate, road permits, insurance. See Compliance documents.
- Assign a primary driver (optional — you can do this per-job too).
- Save.
The vehicle is now visible to the matching engine and eligible for jobs.
Vehicle status
Each vehicle has a live status:
- Available — ready to accept work.
- On a job — currently executing (links to the job).
- In maintenance — out of service for service or repairs.
- Off-road — not in use for any reason (e.g. seasonal, awaiting paperwork).
You can toggle status from the vehicle detail page.
Maintenance tracking
For each vehicle, record:
- Last service date and next service due.
- Tyre history — replacements and rotation.
- Mechanic / vendor notes — free-text history of work done.
You’ll get reminders ahead of due service and ahead of fitness-certificate expiry.
Compliance
Documents that affect compliance — fitness, road permit, cross-border permit, insurance — surface on the Compliance view with expiry tracking. Lapsed compliance documents prevent the vehicle from being matched to new jobs.
Removing a vehicle
You can remove a vehicle at any time. If it has active jobs, those continue with the current assignment but the vehicle won’t be matched to any new ones. History is preserved for analytics.
