Choosing your role

DynaCargo behaves differently depending on the role attached to your account. The platform recognises four primary roles:

RoleYou’re a…You’ll mostly use…
Shipper / MSMEBusiness that needs to send goodsThe marketplace, shipment tracking, your own small fleet (if any), warehouse overview
Logistics companyMid- to large-sized operator with fleets and partnersLoads, dispatch, fleet management, transporter network, analytics
TransporterIndependent carrier or trucking companyMarketplace and bidding, backloads and routes, vehicles and drivers, trips and proof of delivery
Platform adminDynaCargo or operator staffUser management, role assignment, compliance monitoring, audit trails

Your role determines which sidebar sections appear, which dashboards you see by default, and which actions you can take. Permissions are layered on top — see Roles and permissions for detail.

Changing your role

If you signed up under the wrong role, an admin in your company can update it from /dashboard/members. If you’re a one-person account, contact support.

Multiple roles

A single account is one role at a time. If you operate as both shipper and transporter (for example, a logistics company that also moves its own cargo), pick the role that matches your primary use of DynaCargo — most cross-role workflows are available through fleet and marketplace regardless of your label.
