Invoices and payments

You pay your transporter directly — bank transfer, mobile money, cash, whatever you’ve agreed. DynaCargo doesn’t take the money and doesn’t pass it on, so there’s no Pay now button on a shipment and no card to keep on file for freight.

What the platform needs from you is the record: once you’ve paid, say so on the booking. That’s what releases settlement and generates the tax invoice.

You owe the agreed price, in full. DynaCargo’s 5% fee comes out of the transporter’s side, not yours, so it doesn’t change what you pay or what the invoice says.

Recording a payment

  1. Open the trip: DashboardTrips.
  2. In the Settlement panel click Mark as funded.
  3. Confirm in the Confirm payment to the transporter dialog — Yes, I’ve paid — mark funded.

The dialog exists because this is an assertion about the real world, not an instruction to the platform. Only you or an administrator can make it.

Full detail, including disputes, is in Settlement and disputes.

Getting the tax invoice

Once the booking is both delivered and funded, settlement releases and your transporter’s company issues a ZRA invoice against it, numbered INV-BKG….

Click View ZRA invoice on the settlement panel to open it at /dashboard/invoices/{id}. If it reads “Invoice generating…”, give it a moment. You’ll be able to open it even though the transporter issued it — it names you as the customer.

The invoice shows the line items, 16% VAT calculated tax-inclusive, and a ZRA Receipt number with a scannable QR code. Print and Download both open your browser’s print dialog, which is how you save a PDF for your records.

Finding invoices later

DashboardInvoices lists every invoice you can see, with a status badge, the total and the VAT. Ones raised against a booking carry a Booking badge linking back to the trip.

If something’s wrong

Don’t mark a booking funded to unblock an invoice you’re disputing — you can’t take it back. If the delivery or the charge is wrong, click Raise dispute on the settlement panel instead, pick a reason, and settlement freezes until an administrator resolves it.
