FAQ

Account and access

I picked the wrong account type. Can I change it?

Not yourself — contact support. Consumers post loads; providers post backloads and route availability, and neither can do the other’s job. Don’t try to sign up again on the same email; it’ll be rejected as a duplicate.

Why am I being redirected to /subscribe?

The dashboard, posting, bidding and load detail pages need a paid plan. An active Free plan doesn’t count — the check is for a paid subscription, not any subscription. See Subscriptions and DPO Pay.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen for a reset link. Passwords need at least 10 characters including a letter and a number. See Security.

Can I have multiple accounts under one email?

No. One email, one account. If you operate several companies, use a different email per company — an alias works.

Posting and bidding

”Only consumers can post loads to the marketplace.”

You’re on a provider account. Providers post backloads at /marketplace/post-backload instead. See Posting backloads and routes.

”Create your company profile before posting route availability.”

Route availability needs a company profile. Set one up under DashboardCompany.

”Please confirm your email address before posting or bidding.”

Click the link in the confirmation email we sent at signup. Until you do, you can browse but not act.

I’ve posted a route and get no matches. Why?

Three things to check, in this order:

  1. Cross-border clearance, if the lane crosses a border. The matcher skips uncleared carriers silently — no error, no notification, nothing. This is by far the most common cause. See Cross-border clearance.
  2. Did you use a corridor preset? A custom lane is listed and searchable but is never auto-matched.
  3. Did you post after being verified? Matching runs at post time only. Nothing is re-matched later — re-post to trigger it.

”Bidding has closed for this load.”

The shipper’s bidding deadline has passed. Deadlines run 1 hour to 7 days and default to 24 hours.

”This offer has expired.”

An offer that sits 6 hours without a response expires, in either direction. Start a new bid.

”You have already placed a bid on this load.”

One bid per carrier per load. Negotiate on the existing thread with Counter back rather than bidding again.

How do I tell the bidders apart?

Each offer shows the carrier’s company name, a ✓ Verified badge where they’ve earned one, and their star rating with the review count. View profile opens their full public page. A carrier with no registered company shows as Independent carrier.

Can I cancel after a load is booked?

There’s no self-service cancellation on a booked trip. Talk to your counterparty first. If it can’t be agreed, raise a dispute from the trip’s settlement panel and an administrator will record an outcome.

Deliveries

”Only the assigned driver can capture proof of delivery.”

Proof of delivery is driver-party only. The shipper sees the timeline and the map, but not the controls.

I can’t advance the trip status.

The status buttons only offer legal next steps — you can’t skip. If the step you want isn’t there, you’re not where you think you are in the sequence. See Deliveries and proof of delivery.

Proof of delivery won’t submit.

It needs a signature and at least one photo, both, and each is checked separately.

Money

Does DynaCargo take a cut?

Yes — a 5% platform fee on every booking, taken from the transporter’s side. The shipper pays the agreed price in full; the transporter receives the agreed price less 5%. Both figures are shown on the trip’s Settlement panel, and the ZRA invoice is for the full agreed price, since that’s what the shipper owes.

When do I get paid?

Directly by the shipper, off-platform, on whatever terms you agreed. DynaCargo never holds funds — there’s no payout schedule and no linked bank account. Once they’ve paid, they click Mark as funded on the trip, which releases settlement and generates the tax invoice. See Getting paid.

How do I pay for a shipment?

However you and the transporter agreed — bank transfer, mobile money, cash. There’s no Pay now button on a shipment. See Invoices and payments.

What is DPO Pay used for, then?

Your DynaCargo subscription only.

Where’s my ZRA invoice?

It generates once the booking is both delivered and funded. Until then the settlement panel shows what it’s waiting on.

Can I create an invoice manually?

Yes, if your account has a company profile — invoicing is a company feature. See Creating invoices.

Ratings

When do reviews become visible?

When the other party has also rated, or 7 days after the review was written, whichever comes first. Rating promptly publishes both sides sooner.

My review says it’s held for moderation.

It contains an email address, a phone number or profanity. Your star score still counts immediately — only the text waits for review. See Ratings and reviews.

Platform

Is there a mobile app?

DynaCargo is a Progressive Web App — add it to your phone’s Home Screen and it behaves like an app. There’s no separate app in the app stores, and on iPhone the Home Screen install is also what enables push notifications.

Can I message the transporter on a load?

No. There’s no shipper↔transporter chat. Negotiate through counter-offers on the bid, and use the phone number on the company profile for anything else. Message threads exist on disputes, support tickets and the public-profile enquiry form.

Are the Chinyanja and Ichibemba options working?

They’re selectable as a language preference, but the interface stays in English for now — translations are still being written.

Can I integrate DynaCargo with my ERP or TMS?

There’s no public API today. Contact support and tell us what you need; it helps us prioritise.
