Compliance
Compliance lapses ground vehicles, fine drivers, and stop loads at borders. The Compliance view (/fleet/compliance) is built so they don’t happen because no one was looking.
What’s tracked
For every asset you’ve registered, DynaCargo tracks the documents and their expiry:
- Vehicles — registration, road permits (e.g. cross-border permits), fitness certificates, axle-load certificates, insurance.
- Drivers — driving licence, PrDP, medical certificate, hazmat endorsements.
- Warehouses — operating permits, fire safety, environmental clearances.
- Loads — customs paperwork, hazmat declarations, temperature logs (for cold chain).
The compliance dashboard
The page rolls everything up:
- Expiring soon — anything expiring in the next 30 days, sorted by urgency.
- Expired — already-lapsed documents that need immediate action.
- Missing — required documents that have never been uploaded.
- By asset — drill into a single vehicle, driver, or warehouse to see all its documents.
Setting up alerts
Compliance alerts trigger by default at 60, 30, and 7 days before expiry, and again on the day of expiry. To configure cadence or change who gets notified:
- Go to Account → Notification preferences.
- Choose channels — in-app, email or web push. There’s no SMS channel.
- Save.
Uploading and verifying documents
Each compliance document gets uploaded once, optionally with a QR-verifiable proof (e.g. official ZIMRA / ZRA certificates). See Uploading documents and QR verification.
Audit trail
Every upload, expiry, renewal, and verification is logged. See Audit trails for the immutable history.
