Subscriptions and DPO Pay
DPO Pay handles one thing on DynaCargo: your subscription. It is not used to pay for shipments. Payment between a shipper and a transporter happens off-platform and is recorded on the trip — see Invoicing overview.
What a subscription unlocks
The entire /dashboard area sits behind the paywall, along with posting loads, posting backloads and routes, bidding, and load detail pages. Browsing the public marketplace and carrier profiles needs no subscription at all.
There are two plans:
- Free — an account with no paid access. Having an active Free subscription is not the same as being subscribed; the gates check that you’re on a paid plan, so a live Free plan still gets you redirected to
/subscribe. - Pro — shown as K1000.00 ZMW / monthly, which is what the checkout sells. The card breaks it down as Subtotal K862.07, VAT (16%) K137.93, Total K1000.00.
Subscribing
- Go to
/subscribe, or click any paywalled feature and let the app redirect you there. The redirect remembers where you were heading and returns you afterwards. - Review the plan card — the price breakdown shows Subtotal, VAT (16%) and Total, tax-inclusive.
- Click Subscribe now. If you’re logged out the button reads Sign in to subscribe instead.
- You’re handed to a secure DPO Pay checkout. DPO supports card, mobile money and bank transfer depending on your country.
- Complete payment and you’re redirected back to DynaCargo with your subscription active.
A ZRA-compliant invoice is issued for the subscription itself.
Troubleshooting
- Payment failed at DPO — usually a declined card or an insufficient wallet balance. Try another method, or check with your card issuer or wallet provider.
- Paid at DPO but still seeing the paywall — the callback normally lands within a minute or two. If it doesn’t, contact support with the DPO transaction reference; the payment logs carry it.
- Redirected to
/subscribeeven though you have a subscription — check which plan you’re on. An active Free plan doesn’t clear the gate.
